Central Armed Police Forces (Assistant Commandant)
The Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) examination is a competitive recruitment exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in India. CAPF offers a gateway for individuals who aspire to join the esteemed paramilitary forces of the country, including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB).
The CAPF examination is held annually, and candidates need to fulfill the eligibility criteria set by the UPSC and the respective forces. The selection process comprises a written examination, physical standards/physical efficiency tests, medical examination, and a final interview conducted by the UPSC.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

The candidate must be of Indian Nationality and both female, as well as male candidates, can apply for this exam.

Candidates must be between the age of 20-25 years.

There are upper-age relaxations for various categories of candidates.

Your Bachelor’s degree must be recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).

A woman applicant who is discovered to be pregnant for more than 12 weeks as a result of a test will be ruled temporarily unsuitable and her appointment will be postponed until the confinement is finished. The position for which a woman candidate was chosen should be maintained open for her.

The candidate should not have TACHYCARDIA (a pulse rate of more than 100 beats per minute) or BRADYCARDIA (Less than 50 per minute).

There should be no hernia, haemorrhoids, or condylomata prolapse rectum in the candidate.

Applicants must be in sound mental and physical health and devoid of any physical disability that would prevent them from performing their tasks effectively.
SELECTION PROCESS
CAPF AC Selection Process consists of three stages – the Written Exam, the Medical Test, and the Interview / Personality Test. Those who will clear the written exam will have to appear for the interview round.
